It is with great pride that I invite you to join us for the 48th Annual Islamorada Sailfish Tournament. 

The party kicks off on December 1st with fishing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The tournament is the primary fundraiser for the Islamorada Charter Boat Association a 501-c-3 organization. New anglers and old friends come to Islamorada every year to participate in this prestigious event.  The Islamorada Sailfish Tournament is the first leg of the coveted Florida Keys Gold Cup Sailfish Championship. The tournament is also a qualifying event for the IGFA Offshore World Championship. This tournament is rich in history and with your support has continued to grow over the years.

Once again, Whale Harbor Inn & Marina, located at MM 83, will host the Islamorada Sailfish Tournament.  The all you can eat seafood buffet with stone crabs added will kick of this year’s event.  Whale Harbor’s Braza Lena Brazilian Steak House will amaze you with another all you can eat feast during our awards ceremony.  As tournament headquarters, Whale Harbor will be home to the tournament Committee Boat.  We invite you and your friends and family to stop by for up to the minute tournament results, visit us on line with live scoring, and listen for live updates on the radio.

205 Sailfish were released out of the 257 called-in hook ups last year.  Let’s hope this year will produce as many if not more releases.
